01 / The profile

Political instinct. Operator discipline. A network built by showing up.

He knows how power moves. And how to move it.

Lucas “Luke” Melton is a grassroots organizer and political strategist with more than a decade of experience turning trust into action. A Shaw High School graduate, he studied political science at Florida A&M University, marched alongside Congressman John Lewis, and served as a State Representative for Black Youth Vote Florida.

His work has moved from voting-rights advocacy to the Georgia General Assembly, national organizing programs, and high-stakes local campaigns. In 2026, Luke led strategy for Isaiah Hugley’s successful mayoral campaign while coordinating two City Council runoff victories.

The through line is simple: read the room, build the coalition, and deliver.
